What is Tender Bridges?
On October 23, 2008, the long standing and highly successful TENDER BRIDGES coalition took the form of a BCIU Advisory Council. The Council is facilitated by Edwina Frasca-Stuart, D. Ed., BCIU Director, Teaching, Learning, and Staff Development and Sarah J. Shoffler, M.Ed., Early Childhood Specialist with BCIU Early Childhood Services.
The Council's work is based on ten plus years of collaboration among Bucks County's Quality Child Care Coalition for Early Care and Education, the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, United Way Success by 6, Head Start, Bucks County preschools and child care programs, Bucks County school districts, Bucks County non-public schools, higher education, and parents.
