I'm Kasey Golding and I am the Instructional Technology Specialist for Bucks County Intermediate Unit! I have been working for the IU for approximately four years. I previously served as the Online Learning Mentor for Bridges Virtual, an online course provider powered by the IU. I am certified Elementary Education K-6 and in Instructional Technology PK-12. I have a diverse educational background with experience in primary, secondary, and higher education.
I am responsible for the Technology Mentors Advisory Council, Business Computer Information Technology (BCIT) Advisory Council, and the Computer Fair (MS/HS). I actively play a role in providing instructional technology services to public and non-public school districts in Bucks County.
I am a firm believer in using technology to enhance and not to replace learning. We often find ourselves in this position. Technology is always changing and growing so we often have this mindset to get "the next best thing." We often neglect assessing the need.
I am here to help and offer assistance along the way! I look forward to getting to know you, your district and your school and to see the exciting things that are happening in the world of instructional technology!
