One of the many goals of the Bucks County Arts Trust Board is to restore paintings in the collection. Several paintings from the Charles Boehm Collection were restored for an exhibit in 1998 called "Artist to Child" shown at the Michener Museum. The Arts Trust Board is presently continuing the conservation of the collection.

For years some of the paintings in this exhibit have been on the walls of local schools, in environments less-than-perfect for preservation purposes.

Barbara Buckley, a West Chester, PA, Painting Conservator was hired to restore some of the artwork in the exhibit.
