The Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 is a regional educational service provider for the 13 School districts of
Bucks County, PA. We operate a state-of-the-art conference facility near the center of Bucks County, 30 seconds
from Route 611 in Doylestown, PA to serve our educational community. During times when that facility is not
fully booked serving the educators of Bucks County, rooms can be rented for meetings or conferences for other
organizations. Our conference center features a variety of venues, from small meeting rooms that accommodate
10 people to combinations of larger rooms that can hold 150 or more.
Click here to view the space details for each meeting room. The following rooms can be combined via folding walls to provide larger meeting spaces: A&B&C, F&G, I&J)
Meeting rooms that hold 15 or more people are equipped with modern, touch screen controlled audio-video systems that
enable you to display video on the large, built-in projection screen, and audio on the built-in sound reinforcement
system. Our facility is equipped to downlink digital satellite or cable TV feeds to any of our larger conference
rooms and most conference rooms are equipped with CD Player, DVD Player, Cassette Player and a VHS VCR to give you
access to all the most popular content sources as well as providing industry standard VGA computer video and
mini-phono audio jacks for connecting to any customer supplied computer systems for Powerpoint presentations
or other uses. All of our meeting rooms are equipped with Ethernet network jacks for wired connections to the Internet (Internet
access is content filtered - we are a school agency) and all meeting rooms
and public spaces are covered by WiFi 802.11b wireless networking.
Room H on our first floor is equipped with two-way video conferencing equipment which for an additional fee can
enable your attendees to participate in nation-wide two-way video conference events.
Our Moyer Computer Learning Lab is a fully equipped computer
training center that provides 14 modern computing workstations for attendees that can be configured on the fly as
either Windows 2000 or Macintosh systems with access to the Internet and a suite of popular application software as
well as a teacher's workstation (again, switchable between PC and Mac) connected to a built-in large screen
projection system.
The facility includes plenty of parking, an outdoor picnic area and large indoor public spaces which can be used as
reception, registration, exhibit or informal dining areas for catered meals. (Our facilities manager would be happy
to provide you with a list of caterers in the area that have provided meal service for meetings at our facility.) Our
building is fully ADA accessible and provides an elevator and ramps for attendees in wheelchairs. For an additional
fee, we can provide security/reception, audio/visual or computer setup assistance for your event.
