The Bucks County Schools Internet Cooperative provides dialup Internet services via a bank of high speed (56k V.90)
modems with telephone numbers that cover all of Bucks County and some surrounding areas including parts of New Jersey
and Delaware. The service is accessible by either Windows or Macintosh computers running the industry standard PPP
dialup networking protocol.
This dial-up Internet service provides Internet access for teachers and classrooms that don’t have access to higher
speed local area networks, and enables employees of member districts, teachers, administrators and support staff, to
access the Internet and their e-mail from work, home or on the road. Web browsing through this service is content
filtered as per the requirements of the federal Children's Internet Protection Act.
These dialup numbers are provided for use only by staff employed by the member districts of the
Bucks County Schools Internet Cooperative. Current members of the cooperative include
the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, Bristol Borough School District,
Bristol Township School District,
Pennridge School District and
The Bucks County Alternative School. Contact your district technology coordinator or for BCIU employees call extension 1234 to request a dialup account.

you are, open the first non-glossy section of your phone book. Look on the "contents" page for "Exchanges Associated
with Local Calling Area."
