HR Shared Services

Knowledge and Experience at Your Fingertips

The Bucks IU is available to help your educational organization with HR related services that often are best managed by an outside party. Utilizing an independent group, one with expertise and knowledge of your services and industry, can help ensure fair and equitable information from which your future business decisions can then be solidly formulated. Additionally, staff and timing limitations can also make using an outside group the best business decision for your organization.

By combining our education industry experience and knowledge with our staff’s HR management skills1 and legal expertise2, we are able to offer a variety of superior services including:

  • Policy Reviews
  • Annual Salary Surveys
  • Employee Investigations
  • Formal Employee Complaints
  • Guest Teacher Programs
  • Benefit Administration
  • Staffing Support/Searches
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification Discoveries

1. Key HR personnel staff hold national certifications in HR management and memberships in related organizations such as SHRM (Society for HR Management), HR Certification Institute, PASBA (Pennsylvania Associate of School Business Officials), and Philadelphia Society of People and Strategies.

2. Our in-house legal counsel is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia, with an extensive background in employment law, labor negotiations, and benefit administration. Counsel holds membership in the Bar Association of each state in which they are licensed as well as the Council of School Law Attorneys (COSA).
