Bridges Virtual Education Services
We proudly power Bridges Virtual to provide online educational services. The goal is to strengthen the existing academic programs of the school district by providing agile learning environments that promote individualized learning paths for students. Bridges Virtual is a unique online learning program in that students remain a pupil of their home district, receive a district diploma, have access to district support services, and retain the opportunity to participate in after-school activities and athletics.
With a variety of high-quality, K-12, online learning options, Bridges Virtual is available to school districts throughout Pennsylvania. The mission of our partnership with the program is to assist school districts with the implementation, or refinement, of their own virtual education programs.
Bridges Virtual offers online courses through a variety of course providers and operates under an "à la carte" model of flexible options; students can take one course or a full schedule of courses. Bridges works with each enrolling district's guidance counselor or administrator to determine the best courses based on the student’s needs. All students receive support from course teachers, Bridges' Online Learning Mentor, and their home districts.
