3D Design and Printing Club

Get ready to bring your ideas to life—one layer at a time! In this hands-on 5-week club, students in grades 4–7 will dive into the exciting world of 3D printing. We’ll start by experimenting with 3D pens to explore the basics of design and structure, then move into the digital world using Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly 3D modeling platform. Students will learn to create their own 3D designs and watch them take shape on our printers, gaining real-world skills in design thinking, problem-solving, and digital fabrication. By the end of the club, every participant will have created original 3D-printed projects to take home! No experience necessary—just imagination and curiosity! Note: No meeting 10/21 is observance of Diwali.
