Cardboard Engineering

Calling all young engineers! This week of camp will inspire creativity and problem solving as kids use cardboard to build, design, and even do a little bit of coding! Campers will learn about the design process and embark on mini projects that revolve around the world of design and engineering. Campers will also have a chance to create a game out of cardboard and use Makey Makey to bring it to life. Makey Makey is an invention kit designed to connect everyday objects to computer keys. Using a circuit board, alligator clips, and a USB cable, the toy uses closed loop electrical signals to send the computer either a keyboard stroke or mouse click signal. Cardboard Engineering combines the best of everything the Fab Lab has to offer: hands-on engineering, robots and coding, electronics, circuitry, and more!
