Carnival Extravaganze - Fab Lab Summer Camp Week 5

Build A Carnival and Play the Games!

During Carnival Extravaganza week, kids will explore the science, engineering, and creativity behind carnival rides and games! From roller coasters to arcade games, campers will be engaged in challenges to create interactive games and rides. Campers will learn about the design process and embark on mini projects that revolve around the world of design and engineering. This week will combine the best of everything the Fab Lab has to offer: robots and coding, creating things with digital fabrication, electronics, circuitry, and more to bring the carnival to life!

Kids will have fun with Open Fab Lab time (where kids experience all that the Fab Lab has to offer!), team-building activities, movement breaks, time for both independent and group exploration, and STEAM challenges.

Who should attend: Children entering grades 1 through 6 in September 2022 (please note that there are two different ticket options, depending on your camper's age)

Dates: Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm (with the option of adding before care and after care – you can purchase as 'add-ons' when you purchase your camp ticket!)

Lunch/Snacks: Fab Lab Campers should bring morning and afternoon snacks everyday and lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. A pizza lunch is provided on Thursday. A water refill station is available, and we will also have water bottles available if needed.

Our Staff: All Fab Lab Summer Camps are led by certified, master STEAM teachers and administrators.

All attendees of events and activities at the Fab Lab Center must follow the Bucks IU Health and Safety Plan.

Ticket fees include four days of instruction with fully-certified educators, all materials and equipment, pizza on Thursday for lunch, and Fab Lab swag!
