The Fab Lab's after-school clubs offer a fun opportunity for students to engage in computer science and digital fabrication.

About this event

The Bucks IU's Fab Lab Center is the hub of STEAM education in Bucks County! After-school clubs will meet for six consecutive weeks, on a given day of the week, for one hour.

This club will meet on Tuesdays on the following dates: January 11, 18, and 25; February 1, 8, and 15. On these dates, the club will meet from 4:30 to 5:30pm. In the event that a session is cancelled due to weather, the session will be rescheduled for a Monday.

This after-school club will engage children in grades 1 through 8 in coding and robotics. Students will learn to code different robots to engage in different challenges each week. Younger students will begin coding with colors and learn drag-and-drop coding on an iPad, while older students will progress to coding with Scratch on computers. Our teachers will meet students at their current knowledge and comfort level with coding to ensure that everyone is successful and has fun!

All attendees of events and activities at the Fab Lab Center must follow the Bucks IU Health and Safety Plan.

Ticket fees include all Eventbrite processing fees, six weeks of instruction, materials, take-home information for families, and a free t-shirt!
