Fabl Lab logo with the word Center and a pennant with the word CLUBS

The Fab Lab's after-school clubs offer a fun opportunity for students to engage in computer science and digital fabrication.

About this event

The Bucks IU's Fab Lab Center is the hub of STEAM education in Bucks County! After-school clubs will meet for six consecutive weeks, on a given day of the week, for one hour.

This club will meet on Wednesdays on the following dates: January 12, 19, and 26; February 2, 9, and 16. On these dates, the club will meet from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. In the event that a session is cancelled due to weather, the session will be rescheduled for a Monday.

This after-school club will engage children in grades 1 through 8 in engineering and design challenges. Students will be challenged to work in a small group to solve real-world, age-appropriate problems with engineering and design skills. For example, students could be challenged to create a new, environmentally friendly ride for an amusement park that meets design specifications. Our teachers will meet students at their current knowledge and comfort level to ensure that everyone is successful and has fun!

All attendees of events and activities at the Fab Lab Center must follow the Bucks IU Health and Safety Plan.

Ticket fees include all Eventbrite processing fees, six weeks of instruction, materials, take-home information for families, and a free t-shirt!
