FIRST LEGO League Explore

Join the Fab Lab’s FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Team! Reserve your spot today — space is extremely limited! The Fab Lab will host 6 Explore Teams, each made up of 4 students in grades 2–4. In this engaging STEM program, students will explore real-world scientific challenges through hands-on learning with LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential. As they design, build, and code their own models, they’ll develop core engineering skills, strengthen teamwork, and build confidence. This season’s theme, BIOGLOW, invites young innovators to experience the vibrancy of the world’s ecosystems. At the end of the Fab Lab season, teams will have the opportunity to participate in local FIRST® LEGO® League Explore events. These events are optional and teams would be responsible for event registration fees and transportation. *Note: there will be no meetings 11/4 or 11/25 NOTE ABOUT THE REGISTRATION FEES: The true cost of joining this team is $399, however the Fab Lab has applied for a grant to cover a portion of the registration fees. If we receive the grant, the total cost will be $199. Should grant funding not be approved, the cost of this team will be $39/team meeting (there are 10 meetings through the year for a total cost of $399). You will be invoiced the full remaining balance of $200 in October. Failure to complete payment will result in your child being eliminated from the team.
