Minecraft Build Challenge
Join us at the Fab Lab to take part in the Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL) Minecraft Build Challenge! This year’s theme challenges kids to design and build a farm in Minecraft that can feed and support their community. Participants will work in teams of 2–5 to plan, design, and create their builds during two Fab Lab sessions, with pizza provided at each meeting. At the end of the challenge, the Fab Lab will submit each team’s final build to the PSEL competition for judging. Entries will be reviewed asynchronously, and winners from each division (Elementary (K–5), Middle School (6–8), and High School (9–12) will be announced on January 9, 2026. Regional winners will advance to the state finals on February 6, 2026, at Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13, where teams will compete in a live timed build battle for the state championship! Note: This Challenge is grant funded and requires only a non-refundable $5 reservation fee to participate!
