STEELS Standards 201: Instructional Shifts

This day of professional learning is focused on instructional shifts needed for effective implementation of Pennsylvania’s new Science, Technology, Engineering, and Environmental Literacy & Sustainability (STEELS) Standards. Participants will work to align their teaching practices to the three-dimensional design of the STEELS standards as they develop classroom practices that empower students to be critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, and active participants in inquiry-based learning. The day will include collaborative work, group discussion, and time to reflect on current and future teaching practices.
