Notice and Note: Fiction Reading Strategies (for non-public educators only)

Close reading promotes close attention to text, relevant experiences, and the response of other readers. Close reading strategies help cultivate critical reading habits that will make your students more attentive, thoughtful, independent readers. In this FREE one-hour virtual session, teachers will be introduced to the signposts and strategies that support students in becoming close and critical readers. The workshop will feature a live presentation, with time at the end for Q&A.

THIS SESSION IS ONLY OPEN TO NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT RESIDE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING LEAs: Bensalem Township, Bristol Borough, Central Bucks, Council Rock, Morrisville, Neshaminy, Pennridge, Pennsbury, and Quakertown.

PLEASE NOTE: This session will be held virtually via Zoom. The link will be sent to the email that you have linked to your My Learning Plan account. The link will be emailed to that email address 12-24 hours before the session. Please be sure to check that email account!
