Notice and Note: Nonfiction Reading Strategies (for non-public educators)

Nonfiction text is present everyday in the lives of our students. To be able to evaluate what they read, students need to be skillful and savvy readers. In this FREE one-hour virtual session, teachers will be introduced to the stances, signposts and strategies that support students in becoming close and critical readers of nonfiction text. The workshop will feature a live presentation, with time at the end for Q&A.

THIS SESSION IS ONLY OPEN TO NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT RESIDE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING LEAs: Bensalem Township, Bristol Borough, Central Bucks, Council Rock, Morrisville, Neshaminy, Pennridge, Pennsbury, and Quakertown.

PLEASE NOTE: This session will be held virtually via Zoom. The link will be sent to the email that you have linked to your My Learning Plan account. The link will be emailed to that email address 12-24 hours before the session. Please be sure to check that email account!
