Rich Mathematical Tasks to Promote Mathematical Learning

Rich mathematical tasks provide opportunities for students to engage deeply with mathematical concepts and skills. In this FREE one-hour virtual session, teachers will engage in rich tasks as learners themselves in order to uncover the qualities of such tasks. They will then be provided resources to find rich mathematical tasks and learn how to design them for use in their own math instruction. This workshop will feature a live presentation, with time at the end for collaboration and reflection.

THIS SESSION IS ONLY OPEN TO NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT RESIDE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING LEAs: Bensalem Township, Bristol Borough, Central Bucks, Council Rock, Morrisville, Neshaminy, Pennridge, Pennsbury, and Quakertown.

PLEASE NOTE: This session will be held virtually via Zoom. The link will be sent to the email that you have linked to your My Learning Plan account. The link will be emailed to that email address 12-24 hours before the session. Please be sure to check that email account!
