SEL Playlist: A Primer for Supporting Student Wellness K-12 (Non-public school teachers and leaders)

A playlist is an opportunity for teachers to dive deeply into new concepts, using a self-paced, sequential structure that incorporates formative feedback and conferencing. Using the playlist model, K-12 teachers will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), so they will be equipped to seamlessly incorporate SEL strategies into everyday instruction. The SEL Playlist is designed to meet teachers where they are. The course will begin with a 1-hour virtual kick off. Then, using Google Classroom as a vehicle for conversation and feedback, teachers will work asynchronously through 4 modules of SEL learning experiences, with opportunities for live feedback and coaching between each module via Zoom. The SEL Playlist offers participants 30 Act 48 hours, spread out over the months of June-August.
