The Brain and Number Sense (for non-public educators)

Mindset plays a powerful role in mathematical learning. Dr. Jo Boaler, a leader in mathematical mindset research, paved the way towards a better understanding of how the math brain works and develops number sense. In this FREE one-hour virtual session, teachers will be introduced to the power of productive struggle and mistakes, building flexibility, and number sense. The workshop will feature a live presentation, with time at the end for Q&A.

THIS SESSION IS ONLY OPEN TO NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT RESIDE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING LEAs: Bensalem Township, Bristol Borough, Central Bucks, Council Rock, Morrisville, Neshaminy, Pennridge, Pennsbury, and Quakertown.
