A Guide to Effective Teaching

This is a 3 credit (90 Act 48 Hours) online course offered through a partnership with Immaculata University. At registration course participants have the option to add Immaculata University graduate credit to the course. The cost of the graduate credit is $600 ($200 per credit) in addition to the base fee for the course. Once the course starts the decision to add (or not) Immaculata credit is final. At the successful conclusion of the course students will receive a transcript from Immaculata University.

This online course is a teacher's toolkit of strategies that are effective with all types of students. Time Frame: 7/14/2021 - 8/11/2021

This course offers practical suggestions for both new and seasoned veterans to create a dynamic classroom environment. It focuses primarily on; proactive strategies for preventing misbehavior, activities that foster positive teacher-student connections, ideas for addressing student learning preferences, and tips for developing higher-order thinking skills into lessons. There are many meaningful websites and simple suggestions to integrate into your current routine.
