With more and more students being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorders, it is important for educators to examine their perceptions and expand their knowledge base of this disability category in order to meet these students' needs.
Given a current research related to Autism Spectrum Disorder and best practices in working with students with such diagnosis, the course participants will be able to develop and implement sample IEPs for students with autism by writing about at least three (3) current legal case studies, with at least three (3) personal reactions to each case, and at least three (3) impacts to the field of education.

This is an online course. An introductory letter will be sent a few days before the start date with information on how you will participate in this event.
