This 3 credit (90 Act 48 Hours) online course takes a deeper look into creative and critical thinking and the importance of promoting both to ensure student success and college and career readiness. Time Frame: 4/2/19 - 5/2/19

It offers new and veteran teachers detailed information and practical strategies to effectively begin or enhance classroom instruction that will develop a classroom of creative and critical thinkers. The course focuses on increasing student achievement and learning outcomes through; understanding the foundations of thinking skills and learning theories, creating a learning environment for creative and critical thinking, analyzing how to develop critical thinkers, and exploring strategies and tools to assist educators in promoting and developing students as creative and critical thinkers, as well as problem solvers.


This is an online course. An introductory letter will be sent a few days before the start date with information on how you will participate in this event. Ashleigh James is the instructor.
