Connecting the SAT to the Classroom

Join us for an interactive workshop that takes inside look at the test and question design of the SAT Suite of Assessments. Designed for curriculum leads and/or lead teachers, we will take an up-close look at the questions on the SAT Suite of Assessments. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of not only the question format and structure, but the content and skills students are asked to demonstrate. Participants will work in subject groups to brainstorm instructional strategies they can bring back to their schools and classrooms as well as receive resources to conduct subject specific workshops in their schools. This workshop will be broad in nature, but would appropriate for all subject areas, include Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.
