Course 1: Social and Emotional Wellness Learning in Youth Development

Develop an understanding of social and emotional learning and the impact that explicit teaching can have on the learner as well as the learning environment. Candidates will recognize the unique developmental characteristics and needs of learners at all age levels.

The virtual course starts on Monday, October 9, 2023 and extends to Sunday, December 3, 2023. In addition to the asynchronous assignments, participants will meet each Tuesday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm for eight weeks for a 2-hour synchronous session with the course instructor, Dr. Meredith Gapsis. Prior to the start of the course you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the Bucks IU Canvas page.

COSTS: 90 Act 48 Hours - $600.00, 3 Graduate Credits - $1,665.00
