Creating Virtual Learning Environments with StartSOLE

Self-Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) is a simple structure designed to
promote inquiry and foster self-empowerment. SOLEs start with a big question designed
to provoke curiosity. From there, learners work collaboratively to investigate and then
share out their discoveries. A SOLE can exist anywhere there is a computer, internet
connection, and students who are ready to learn. In this FREE 1-hour virtual workshop,
participants will be introduced to StartSOLE, an online platform where students are
given the freedom to learn collaboratively using the internet. The workshop will include
an overview of the platform and its structure, as well as provide support in getting
started with this free resource.

PLEASE NOTE: This session will be held virtually. The link will be sent to the email that you have linked to your My Learning Plan account. The link will be emailed to that email address 12-24 hours before the session. Please be sure to check that email account!
