Engaging Students in Project Based Learning (PBL)Remotely through Defined Learning

All Bucks County public elementary schools have teacher and student access to Defined Learning.

This virtual synchronous professional learning experience will begin with an introduction/refresher to Defined Learning and connections with authentic, Project Based Learning (PBL) for teachers and students in a hybrid/remote learning environment.

The facilitator will share tips and strategies for structuring and differentiating PBL experiences to meet the needs of students in an online learning community. Ideas and formats for alternative grading methods, as well as gathering evidence of learning will be shared. These ideas will be modeled through the use of Defined Learning performance tasks and associated resources.
