Equitable Instructional Practices for Mathematics: Tasks that Promote Reasoning and Problem Solving

This free, one-hour webinar is the first in a series of seven that focuses on the most effective mathematics teaching practices. Please note that educators can sign up for any or all of these sessions. This first session will focus on the instructional practice of identifying and implementing tasks that promote reasoning and problem solving. Each webinar in the series will also incorporate into the teaching practices, strategies for addressing issues of equity and diversity. By shining a light on equitable strategies as we explore the most effective teaching strategies, the focus will be on providing opportunities for ALL students to learn high levels of mathematics.
