Gifted Education for School Administrators

Join Dr. Shirley Moyer, PDE Special Ed Advisor and Dr. Edwina Frasca-Stuart, Bucks IU Director of Teaching, Learning, and Staff Development, in presenting an interactive workshop that will review key components of Chapter 16 and the Gifted Guidelines and their implications for designing effective Gifted services. This workshop will focus on the role of PIMS in gifted education, caseloads, the role of case managers, teacher certification, GMDE and GIEP team membership, Gifted Written Reports, Present Levels of Educational Performance, GIEP Goal Areas, and Gifted programming options. Questions from the audience will be addressed through out the day.
