Teachers in the Workplace: 2-day Summit

In partnership with Joann Hudak, Director of PA Pathways Projects with NC3T, the Palisades School District is hosting a two-day virtual summit this June in order to enhance teaching and learning practices in the curriculum to provide students with world-class employability skills.

The summit will take place, virtually, on June 16 and 17, from 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM. Act 48 hours will be awarded through the Bucks IU.

Attendees must be a Bucks County educator from a school district or CTC, and preferably, a teacher or administrator at the secondary level (grades 6 - 12).
Participants will be able to better understand the implications of workforce trends for education.
Participants will learn how to implement the Pennsylvania Career Education and Work Standards and meet the Future Ready PA Index Career Readiness Indicators.
Participants will learn how to strengthen employer and community partnerships to support career education, increase communication and collaboration with career and technical education administrators, and examine strategies and best practices in career connected learning.
