3rd Annual Schools Concussion Conference

This conference is intended to provide individuals from the schools with the latest concussion information and to directly apply that information in the school setting for students during the return to learn process. This includes initial concussion management from an academic perspective through prolonged recoveries. Cost of this event includes a light breakfast and a full lunch.

Participants will be able to describe clinical updates, treatments, research in concussion as they relate to the impact on education.

Participants will be able to describe initial management and academic modifications for students with concussion, as well as what to consider for a student with a prolonged recovery from concussion.

Participants will be able to identify discipline specific (e.g., nursing, psychology, counseling, ATCs) procedures/supports that might benefit students with concussions in the return to learn process.
