ParaEd: Low-Intensity Strategies Part 2
In this session, participants will be introduced to low-intensity classroom management strategies. When implemented consistently, these strategies can lead to significant improvements in student behavior. They can be easily embedded within academic instruction, can decrease student disruptive behavior and increase academic engagement.
(Please note: This is a continuation from Part 1 that was offered last year. You do NOT need to attend Part 1 to attend Part 2)
SYNCHRONOUS: Content will be presented through a live Zoom meeting. Please create a Zoom account with your full first and last name in advance and make sure your software is up to date. Participants will receive an email from the presenter with the Zoom link at least 24 hours in advance. This communication will be sent to the email address associated with your MLP/Frontline account. In order to receive credit for participation, your Zoom name needs to be complete and accurate (you may need to rename at the start of the meeting, in place of using a phone number) and you will need to complete a Google Exit Ticket.
