ParaEd: Technology to Support Learning and Independence

This asynchronous course will allow you to navigate a self-paced exploration of technological tools that can lend support to the enhancement of learning opportunities for students. It will allow you to explore and increase your familiarity with different commonly used platforms and their supportive tools

ASYNCHRONOUS:This course will be open and available for completion from the first of the month through the last day of the month. Content will be presented through a public Canvas course, so participants do NOT need to create a Canvas account. Participants will receive an email from the presenter with the Canvas link at least 24 hours in advance. This communication will be sent to the email address associated with your MLP/Frontline account. In order to receive credit for participation, all course activities must be submitted within the month's timeframe and you will need to complete a Google Exit Ticket.

Participants will:


    Understand how to leverage technology to support learning
    Understand how to leverage technology to support independence
    Implement at least one new tool to support learning and independence
