ParaEd: Understanding Motivation and Change: Why Small Changes Make a Big Difference

"Success is the product of daily habits, not once-in-a-lifetime transformations." This workshop will focus on looking at behaviors and habits and how making tiny changes can have remarkable results. Participants will learn the science of how to create positive habits through the use of motivations strategies, relationship connections, and reinforcement practices in way that is easy to understand and apply.

SYNCHRONOUS: Content will be presented through a live Zoom meeting. Please create a Zoom account with your full first and last name in advance and make sure your software is up to date. Participants will receive an email from the presenter with the Zoom link at least 24 hours in advance. This communication will be sent to the email address associated with your MLP/Frontline account. In order to receive credit for participation, your Zoom name needs to be complete and accurate (you may need to rename at the start of the meeting, in place of using a phone number) and you will need to complete a Google Exit Ticket.

Participants will:

Explore how making tiny changes can have a big impact in making changes in habits and behaviors.
    Understand basic principles of motivation.
Learn positive reinforcement techniques to change behavior.
