The Latest in Assessment and Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a recognized clinical entity (ASHA position statement, 2007), yet few validated tests or measures exist for diagnosis. In addition, the evidence base for CAS treatment is limited. The goal of this presentation was to help speech-language pathologists in their clinical decision-making regarding diagnosis and treatment of CAS, by reviewing the evidence base and providing easy-to-use resources.
