Welcome!

The Bucks IU at Lower Southampton is an Early Learning Center (ELC) designed for children ages 3-5. We help prepare children for kindergarten and beyond with the knowledge that their preschool experience can set the tone for a child’s future academic success. We want learning to be FUN!

Providing Exceptional Programs and Services

Our inclusive preschool setting supports young learners’ educational growth, development, and socialization. The Bucks IU at Lower South is an authorized provider of the federally funded Early Head Start and Head Start programs as well as the Pennsylvania state funded Pre-K Counts program. Special education students are eligible for enrollment through our Preschool Early Intervention program. Use the links to the programs to find all the details on eligibility and how to apply.

Our programs for special education students include supports for autism, developmental delays, complex medical needs, and social-emotional delays. Services offered include diagnostic evaluations, itinerant services, specialized classroom support, and playgroups.

Our outstanding team of professionals focus on each student and their individual needs as they begin to adapt to being in a learning environment while getting used to school-based schedule and program curriculum. Beyond the administrative and site operations staff, the Bucks IU at Lower Southampton team also includes:
