Welcome!

The Bucks IU at Samuel Everitt provides an inclusive, educational environment where children and youth with special needs can come to learn and flourish.  Our programs are for students in kindergarten to age 21 who reside in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties (all students must be referred to our programs through their home school district).  We provide learning supports designed to help prepare students for reintegration into their home school environments whenever possible.

Providing Exceptional Programs and Services

We proudly offer a student-centric balance of educational curriculum with program intensive supports for students with autism and emotional needs.  Our older students also receive post-secondary skills training.

Students at Everitt oftentimes have a variety of related services provided during their school day as determined by their Individual Education Plan (IEP) and contracted through their home school district. These services may include Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, Physical Therapy, and Vision - Orientation - Mobility Services.
