These resources are for parents to review/use in support of their child's growth and development should they wish. Please note that the Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 is not responsible for the content of these other website or materials, nor does their inclusion here represent agreement with the information or support of the organization. 

Academics

Bucks County Free Library - An extensive collection of materials and community activities for PreK to adulthood.

Exploratorium - A website that teaches kids about science and art in new ways.

Study Money - This website is designed to help people with disabilities and their families and advocates learn about managing money.

What's on a Pay Stub - Helps young adults better understand their pay stub.

Agencies

Bucks LIFE - A countywide program that works closely with families to offer invaluable support as well as provide information and referral resources.

Behavior

Lenape Valley Foundation - Services to support mental health, early intervention, and intellectual disabilities. 

Merakey - Services to support mental health, autism, intellectual disabilities, family services, and foster care.

Progressions - Access to individualized, strength-based, trauma-informed, quality behavioral health supports and services.

Disability Awareness

Disability Rights, Pennsylvania - Helps to access community services, MA, and education. Addresses ADA compliance, assistive technology, voting rights, legal issues, and situations of discrimination, abuse and neglect.

PA Family Network - Resources, advocacy, and workshops for persons with autism or an intellectual disablity and their families.

PEAL Center: Parent Education &Advocacy Leadership - Works with famlies, youth, and young adults with disabilities and special health care needs on their rights and advocating for themselves.

Family Service Association - Programs and services focused on preparing children and adolescents for the future.

Social-Emotional Learning

Milestone Behavioral - Wrap around autisic support, group therapy and outpatient therapy.

Potential, Inc. - Providing quality interventions for individuals with Autism.

Support Groups

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - Provides support groups for people of all ages dealing with mental health challenges. Educational programs for schools and community.

Transition

TIP/Access Services - TIP serves young adults who struggle with mental health issues. They provide a one on one peer support who can provide guidance in future planning and managing mental health issues.

NOVA Victim's Services - Programs to meet individual needs, including a victim hotline, interveiws with children of abuse, and trauma focused therapies.
