Academics

BBC History for Kids - Games, quizzes and fact sheets take kids on a journey through time.

Bucks County Free Library - An extensive collection of materials and community activities for PreK to adulthood.

CoolMath4Kids - For ages 3-12 offfering online games designed to help learn early numeracy skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Discovery Kids - Games, puzzles, activities, and quizzes get kids involved in learning something new without it feeling like work.

Every Kid Outdoors - Allows U.S. fourth graders and family members free access to over 2,000 federal lands and waters so you can discover our wildlife, resources, and history.

Exploratorium - A website that teaches kids about science and art in new ways.

FUNBRAIN - For preschoolers to 8th graders, offering math, reading, online books, and learning games.

How Stuff Works - When your child wants to know why the sky is blue, how a tornado forms, or any number of other questions they come up with on a daily basis, head on over to How Stuff Works.

Make Me Genius - Videos that cover a variety of subjects, such as physics for kids, photosynthesis, the nervous system, solar system, and electricity.

National Geographic Kids - Learn about animals, nature, different countries, see science experiments, and more. There’s even a “Little Kids” section for the younger explorers in your house.

PBS Kids - Educational games and videos from a variety of PBS KIDS shows.

Reading Buddies - For PreK to age 3, the show instructs three important underlying components of skillful word reading: phonological awareness, letter names/sounds, and blending sounds to decode words accurately.

Starfall - Exploration, play and positive reinforcement around language arts and mathametics for children in preK - 3rd grade.

Time for Kids - TIME for Kids is loaded with interesting articles, photos, and videos. Politics, the environment, entertainment, sports, and health are just some of the topics covered.

Bucks LIFE - A countywide program that works closely with families to offer invaluable support as well as provide information and referral resources.

Behavior

Bethanna - Programs and services are dedicated to strengthen families, promote resilience, and offer hope in times of need.

Horizons Behavioral Health - Provide services to children with an emphasis on the strengths and needs of their support systems.

Lenape Valley Foundation - Services to support mental health, early intervention, and intellectual disabilities.

Merakey - Services to support mental health, autism, intellectual disabilities, family services, and foster care.

Progressions - Access to individualized, strength-based, trauma-informed, quality behavioral health supports and services.

Disability Awareness

Disability Rights, Pennsylvania - Helps to access community services, MA, and education. Addresses ADA compliance, assistive technology, voting rights, legal issues, and situations of discrimination, abuse and neglect.

PA Family Network - Resources, advocacy, and workshops for persons with autism or an intellectual disablity and their families.

PEAL Center: Parent Education &Advocacy Leadership - Works with famlies, youth, and young adults with disabilities and special health care needs on their rights and advocating for themselves.
